Lillian Marie Culton, 81, of Richmond, passed away Thursday evening, December 18, 2014 at Richmond Health & Rehab-Kenwood. Mrs. Culton was born on April 8, 1933 in Estill County, the daughter of the late Issac Thomas and Mary Margaret Shearer Sparks. She was a homemaker and a member of The Waco Pentecostal Tabernacle. Survivors include her husband, Harold Culton; two sons: Darrell Culton (Teresa) and Donald Culton; four daughters: JoEtta Dunn (Jerry), Joyce Smith (Kenny), Betty Oliver (Harold) and Kathy Smith (Chris Ponder); five brothers: James Sparks, Sidney Sparks (Ruth), Herman Ray Sparks (Blanche), Earl Sparks (Ruby) and Johnny Sparks (Marquita); one sister: Coffa Etta Embrey; eleven grandchildren, five step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one brother: Glendon Sparks, one sister: Elsie Still; two grandchildren: Cody Culton and Stacy Dunn and by two brothers and two sisters that died as infants. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, December 22, 2014 at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Frankie Sparks and Rev. Scott Guiley officiating. Burial will follow at Madison Memorial Gardens Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
